After The Whistle: Referee Development Program

REFEREE DEVELOPMENT

Infocom Canada Hockey Consultants will create a program which will assist a hockey organization in the establishment of an effective referee development strategy.

This will consist of conducting a complete and thorough review of the current status of the referee development program. A summary report with recommendations will be presented to the Board of Directors for review.

The Board of Directors will be free to select from a number of options, including:

	Making arrangements for the consultant to conduct a special seminar for new and/or experienced officials;
	Preparing a special "training/coaching" program which will be administered during the season;
	Developing an evaluation/supervision program for officials;
	Any other strategy which is deemed appropriate for resolution of the concerns addressed in the summary report.
