This is a program which has been designed specifically for
"elite" level hockey clubs at all divisions.
It’s prime objective is to assist the team in reducing the number of
penalties it is incurring during games as well as helping players and
coaching staff develop a better understanding of the rules of the game
which have been presenting problems during the season.
A meeting will be held with the team coaching staff to review the goals
and objectives of the consultation program. This meeting will address the
concerns of the coaching staff and identify several problem areas.
Two actual hockey games will be attended to make observations and to
determine areas which must be addressed in the program.
A report will be presented to the coaching staff which will include
recommendations and a plan of action designed to address the concerns and
observations.
Following the meeting with the coaching staff, the consultant will be
prepared to present the report to the players and parents.
Depending on the wishes of the team, the consultant will also be
prepared to conduct a series of "off-ice" and "on-ice"
sessions as needed to address the concerns identified.
